An Oracle Financial ERP Consultant with 10 years of experience is responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting core financial modules including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management within Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite or Fusion)

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and finance requirements for Oracle financial projects using prescribed methodologies (AIM, OUM, etc.)
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle Fusion Financial modules such as General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
  • Manage full lifecycle ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, functional fit-gap analysis, and testing
  • Conduct and lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions
  • Oversee financial system integration, data migration, and cutover activities
  • Prepare and maintain financial documentation, test scripts, deliverables, and training materials
  • Handle month-end close activities, reconciliation, and reporting for GL, AP, AR, and FA modules
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and leadership to align financial solutions with business goals and accounting standards
  • Provide guidance and support for regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and process improvements

Module-Specific Responsibilities

  • Payables:Invoice processing, payment automation, vendor management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Receivables: Manage customer receipts, apply payments, resolve issues, report on balances, optimize cash flow.
  • Fixed Assets: Asset accounting, manage additions, transfers, retirements, ensure correct financial book handling.
  • Cash Management: Monitor and reconcile cash transactions, maintain financial controls, report cash positions.
  • Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep functional and techno-functional knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards across all financial functions.
  • Experience in financial system integrations and business process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex Oracle production issues and enhancement requests.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills for client-facing and internal stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud and E-Business Suite, including implementations and ongoing support.
  • Proven record in handling large-scale financial projects and ability to work with minimal supervision.
